DESCRIPTION:The Department of Digital Humanities and Social Studies wo
uld like to invite you to the following talk in our DH Colloquium: Mar
kus Tischner: »From prompt engineering workflows to custom gpts. Intr
oduction and live development« Abstract: Using Custom GPTs as Co-Crea
tors in Cultural Geography Research Generative AI is not just a tool.
It can be a creative partner. Custom GPTs\, which can be configured wi
thout any coding\, allow researchers to build their own AI collaborato
rs. These assistants can help you explore qualitative data\, simulate
stakeholder perspectives\, or even prototype early research ideas. In
this colloquium\, we’ll explore how Custom GPTs can be used as pract
ical co-creators in the research process. The session will be hands-on
and interactive. We’ll start with several live demonstrations of Cu
stom GPTs tailored to research in cultural geography. Besides the live
demo\, you will learn how they were built. In the second part\, we’
ll open the floor for discussion. Bring your own research ideas\, and
let’s brainstorm how Custom GPTs might support them. If there’s in
terest (and time)\, we’ll collaboratively build a prototype GPT live
\, based on a challenge or use case from the audience. About the Speak
