Project auction

Project auction

The project auction is a new format to bring together ideas from students and teachers: a forum to place one’s own ideas and to see which offers there are concerning research and practical application. Like in an auction, the ideas are presented and someone can bid on them. Bidding here means either offering to carry out the project or supervising it.

The practical relevance and the work on own projects is an important component of the digital humanities and social sciences. An entire semester is scheduled for this. But in addition, projects also play a major role in seminars, auxiliary jobs, summer schools, jobs and finally the big project, the final thesis.

Anyone who has an idea presents it in a two-minute pitch. If you don’t have an idea, you can be inspired and get involved in the right project.
