From the 4th semester of a Bachelor’s degree or the 2nd semester of a Master’s degree, a stay abroad can be easily integrated into the study plan.
Please send your application by email to Prof. Dr. Michaela Mahlberg with the following documents: cover letter, CV, transcript of records. This will be followed by a motivational and informational interview. The application deadline for stays in the winter and/or summer semester is always January 31st. FAU maintains partnerships with several universities within the framework of the European exchange program ERASMUS+. Currently, there are no dedicated exchange programs for Digital Humanities. Please check the offerings of your second subject in the BA program or the offerings of the Department of Computer Science. The number of available study places and the length of stay vary from institution to institution. Recognition of credits earned abroad is based on the previously agreed Learning Agreement. Please contact the academic advising office for further information . The International Affairs Office (RIA) at FAU offers many other opportunities for stays abroad. The project module can also be completed abroad, either in conjunction with a study abroad program or independently. Please refer to the relevant page for details regarding the project module .
