We are delighted to welcome Dimitra Gkatzelaki to the DHSS!
Dimitra holds a BA from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where her passion for literature flourished, followed by an MSc in Language Technology from the University of Athens.
Dimitra joins the T&L Lab as a doctoral researcher at FAU, where her research will explore fictional people and the climate crisis through a computational analysis of climate fiction and science fiction.
Her research interests lie at the intersection of Computational Literary Studies, Corpus Linguistics, and Large Language Models, bringing together literary inquiry and computational methods to investigate how fiction engages with the climate crisis.
Welcome to the team, Dimitra!
