Academic advising

Many paths lead to good communication.

Staying informed isn’t always easy in an interdisciplinary degree program. That’s why we have different communication channels for different things. For administrative matters and important issues, there’s the official mailing list. For everything else concerning the program and your studies, the FSI Discord server might be a good option.

The Digital Humanities and Social Sciences program  operates several mailing lists. These lists are used to communicate information relevant to all students, such as important schedule changes, office hour cancellations, upcoming lectures, information sessions, event announcements, job postings, and all other important university-internal administrative matters.
The mailing list is automatically managed by the computer center and is only sent to FAU email addresses. Access is granted exclusively upon enrollment in the program.

For communication among themselves, FSI DigiHumS operates a Discord server with channels for individual courses.
