As part of a lecture series, organized by the Collegium Alexandrinum, Sabine Lang will give a talk on “Digital provenance research: What potential does artificial intelligence have for research on the origin of objects?”

Based on current digital developments, the presentation is dedicated to the interweaving of artificial intelligence and provenance research; based on various examples, the talk aims to show which tasks can be performed by algorithms and points to challenges and limitations.
